Google In-Depth Articles Are Back
Did you notice that Google’s in-depth articles dropped out kind of mysteriously at the start of April. If you didn’t, then this article will not give you any new information, but if you missed this search feature, we have something to make you happy. I understood that Barry Schwartz emailed them a lot of times for a comment but Google never answered him. So we had no information on the topic until the end of April and now it seems they are coming back.
The leak of information came from Aaron Friedman who posted a screenshot with them on Twitter. I was not able to see them the last time I checked. Probably Google never meant to remove the in-depth articles. Since Google never did comment on the matter it is possible this was only a bug that was fixed, a test or the people from Google were just remodeling the algorithm.
Since their initial start in 2013 the in-depth articles changed a lot in terms of how are they displayed in the search results. I am not a big supporter of them but we can wait and see what new the people from Google have for us.
